Discover Timeless Elegance With BCS Plaster Moulding

At BCS Plaster Moulding, we bring over 25 years of expertise in the repair, restoration, and bespoke creation of interior and exterior mouldings. Formerly known as Mill Mouldings, we have built a strong reputation across Northern Ireland for high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Our team specialises in designing, manufacturing, and fitting moulds in a wide range of materials, including fibrous and lime plaster, Roman cement, and ceramics. Every piece we create is hand-made and tailored to the exact specifications of our customers whether it’s restoring historic features, reproducing moulds from old photographs, or designing something entirely new.

Over the years, we’ve been trusted to work on prestigious projects such as the part restoration of Dunville Park’s John Dalton Fountain and Belfast’s iconic Ormeau Bakery. Our expertise also extends to churches, commercial properties, and private homes, some dating back to the 1800s

Bernard wins Emerging Metalworker of the Year Award 2025

Northern Ireland plasterer Bernard Cunningham has won the third annual Emerging Metalworker of the Year Award, supported through a donation by Lucy and Laurence Butcher, including a £1,000 prize awarded at a special presentation at Wentworth Woodhouse on Monday 17 November 2025.

The award, now in its third year, celebrates an emerging metalworker who has made an outstanding start to their craft career. The winner is highly skilled amongst their peers, with raising the perceived value of their art through sharing and showcasing their work having themselves a fantastic chance of achieving long-term success, perhaps overcoming disadvantage or setbacks along the way.

Bernard Cunningham is a traditional plasterer with 37 years’ experience, but his nomination was for his emerging business crafting bespoke, distinctive metal tools for heritage and stucco plastering. The tools, which include hand-forged tools for scagliola and plastering, cannot be bought in shops, and he is now expanding his range and open training courses for the next generation.
